Knowledge Drop | Roughly how many years ago did ratatouille originate in France?

Dating back over 200 years, ratatouille is a classic French vegetable dish originally designed to take advantage of the season’s remaining harvest. What really popularized the dish was the 2007 animated Disney movie, which if you haven’t seen yet — is an absolute must!

Heating Instructions

Add polenta + coconut milk to pan and whisk until hot (3-5 mins) — transfer to plate. Heat ratatouille in pan for 3-5 mins, stirring occasionally. Serve over polenta + enjoy!

Ingredients

RATATOUILLE: tomato, onion, garlic, basil, oregano, red wine, yellow squash, zucchini, eggplant, crimini, red pepper, pink himalayan salt, black pepper.  CREAMY POLENTA: onion, garlic, coconut milk, nutritional yeast, polenta, chive, parsley, vegetable stock.
