Tempeh if FULL of prebiotics that help feed the good and beneficial bacteria our bodies need (It really does have a hold on you!). That bacteria has been shown to have an anti-inflammatory effect on the body, as well as supporting the digestive system. A lot of pre-made tempeh has added wheat, sugar, gluten, and other additives. Those commercial brands will also use de-hulled soya beans that have been in storage for a while, where as smaller, local companies will use whole beans and remove the hulls when making the tempeh; so fresh!
Heating InstructionsBake quinoa cake, tempeh, asparagus + leek of 350ºF for 5-7 minutes. Plate on top of greens, drizzle with vinaigrette + enjoy!
