Knowledge Drop | A daily dose of spice may help you live longer, according to a study conducted by Harvard.

Known to speed up metabolism by up to 50%, green chillies are a great way to spice up your diet as they also supply your body with an abundance of cell protecting antioxidants. A Harvard study found that those who consumed spice daily had a 14% lower risk of death than people who ate spicy foods only once a week. For optimal absorption of chillies' rich vitamin-c and beta-carotene content, make sure to store them in a cool dark place — the vitamin C quantity diminishes when chillies are exposed to heat and light. Being grown in Pueblo, Colorado for over 200 years, green chillies are the key ingredient in the beloved Coloradan staple, green chili.
