Masala Makes Me Wanna Holla'
Knowledge Drop | What spice in this dish is known as one of the most nutrient-rich medicinal spices in the world?
Turmeric! Dating back over 4000 years, turmeric is one of the most nutrient-rich medicinal spices in the world. The yellow root is known to help reduce inflammation + prevent disease by providing your body with a plethora of powerful antioxidants, which are crucial for reducing oxidative damage to your cells – and keeping you looking young and radiant (like Gwen). Singing this song out loud and enjoying this bright yellow dish will make you want to say "this sh*t is bananas!" about how nourished + energized it makes you feel.
BTW – Did you know Gwen Stefani lives a plant-based lifestyle? She became a vegetarian at age 12 (similar to our founder, Krissy) and eats a mostly vegan diet nowadays. Just sayin'... Gwen's 51 but could pass for 31.
