Baking Me Crazy
Knowledge Drop | Unlike conventional fried falafels, we bake ours.
Typically deep-fried in toxic seed-based oils such as canola or vegetable oil, falafels are most often harmful for your body despite their nutritious ingredients. Studies show that frequent consumption of fried foods may lead to type 2 diabetes + heart disease, which is why we bake our falafels, bringing out the amazing flavors, while preserving their powerful nutrients + making them crazy good.
Heating InstructionsBake falafels at 400°F for 8 mins, flipping half-way. Meanwhile, heat ½ TSP of oil + caulirice in a pan over med. heat for 2-3min. Plate everything + enjoy! We recommend using the lettuce leaves as wraps + filling them w/ mediterranean goodness.
FALAFEL: chickpea, onion, garlic, parsley, cilantro, garbanzo flour, flax seed, nutritional yeast, cumin, coriander, chile flake, baking powder, evoo. HUMMUS: beet, chickpeas, tahini, lemon, garlic, evoo, coriander, cumin. CHIMICHURRI CAULIRICE: cauliflower, parsley, cilantro, garlic, lemon, red onion, red wine vin., evoo. PICKLED ONION: onion, apple cider vin., coconut sugar, beet, pink himalayan salt. CRUDITÉ: romaine, carrot, cucumber, radish, bell peppers. GREEN TAHINI DRESSING: ginger, tahini, parsley, lemon, garlic, spinach, chives, evoo.
